The Inverness 2000 instrument is a hand-pressured system which provides a gentler piercing. The earring cassettes are sterile, containing two fully encapsulated earring cartridges, and come with a hygienic cleansing towlette. Each cassette is labeled with the style number and a brief description of the earring on the outside of the cassette for easy identification.

Do not be scared by the "requires Inverness piercing gun" part of the title! You can get them out of the housing used for the piercing gun VERY easily with a small screwdriver.

I have been wearing this type of titanium piercing studs for years as my everyday earrings. Titanium is the only type of metal I can wear for more than a day, and piercing studs tend to have backings that don't pull off as easily as regular earrings. Unfortunately, I had lost several and had been looking to buy more for some time but hadn't been able to find the right combination of price and color. Blomdahl has a huge selection of colors, but were way more than I was willing to spend. I was originally scared off of the Inverness because I thought I believed the "requires Inverness piercing gun" meant I wouldn't be able to use them. I'm so glad I took a chance when West Coast was having a sale a couple of months ago.
